It's been less than two months since the release of Miike Snow's sophomore album 'Happy To You'. It's not taken long for this Swedish collective to make the most of that time conquering the globe and most recently smashing Coachella. There's some serious hype around the band at the moment, and with a string of high profile remixes from the likes of Dirty South and Wolfgang Gartner, it's now the return of wonder remixer and Berlin-based DJ/Producer Thomas Gold. With his latest record 'Sing2Me' going all the way to #1 on Beatport, Thomas returns on Axwell's label Axtone to deliver a massive stadium-vibed rework of Miike Snow's single 'The Wave'. While the origial provides a somewhat melancholic soundscape centred upon a rolling military snare and crisp piano, Thomas takes these elements planting them alongside the vocal line in the midst of trademark synths, building to an epic melody-fuelled break. YEAH.
